Started taking the welding classes a couple of months ago. The instructor for the morning class, Peete, is very knowledgeable, encouraging, and goes above and beyond to provide demonstrations and give advice when needed

Have been waiting a month and a half for my refund. I paid 3k for a class, and was told I could get a refund within 30 days if something happened. Since Feb 3rd, I’ve been waiting for my money back. I’ve called many times and have been told conflicting information from the same lady who accepted my money. They don’t answer calls and continue with excuses. As of today Mar 16, I have not received my money. This is taking a toll on me, as I am being ignored and pushed aside because of greed. I haven’t been given a reason for the delay. This is not a good way to treat prospective students. BE AWARE! THERE IS NO GUARANTEE WHEN YOU WILL GET YOUR REFUND. INCOMPETENT STAFF WORKING HERE! Due your due diligence and study somewhere else!

Miss Ortiz - Welding Instructor. I am thrilled to share my experience with Miss Ortiz, my welding instructor at SoCal ROC. From the very first class, it was evident that she is not only an expert in her field but also a passionate educator dedicated to her students' success. Miss Ortiz has an incredible ability to break down complex welding concepts into easily understandable lessons. Her hands-on approach ensures that every student, regardless of their skill level, feels confident and capable. Thank you SCROC, back in 1976 I went there for training and it became the foundation for the rest of my business life. I took a course in Automotive tune up and diagnosis. I thought it would be a neat thing to do at the time no realizing it would become such an intrical part of me. Only 12 years after SCROC, I started ABC Auto Care and it has been incredibly rewarding. I remember the faces of my trainiers. They were very kind people, unfortunately I don't remember their names. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I want you to know that thanks to you, I did great.

I just want everyome not to waste their time with this school I called in and asked if they took financial aid they said “yes” i drove 40 mins just to find out their “financial aid” was 20% off the welding class. I was like okay fine I paid $880 out of pocket in full amount that day only to get there on monday to this unprofessional school ever! To start off the teacher was late! Didnt greet us didnt let us know where to sit we just wondered inside the warehouse and found some seats only to be left there in silence for 30mins! Then he came back and told us we were in the wrong class! Even though the paper said 315! We left to the “correct” room only to be left again for three hours and said “i dont know where your teachers at but ill put a video on the mean time” never came back other to tell us to go on a 20min break. No one was there to give us an introduction then one his own students came and said “hey if you guys need a list of thinga you guys need for this class ill make one because this teacher is lazy and wont even try to teach you guys i had to learn from the students above me because he didnt teach me nothing” and to top that i could only get a refund if I DIDNT GO THE SE
